Loyal Companion

As the [Void Emperor's Aura] spread throughout the chamber, the Earth Wyrm in front of Enzo froze. The Earth Wyrm's massive form trembled as an unfamiliar sensation washed over him. It wasn't fear that gripped his heart, but an overwhelming sense of loyalty. The creature before him, though small in comparison, radiated an aura of supreme authority that penetrated deep into the Wyrm's very being.

Any thoughts of aggression or resistance evaporated instantly. The Earth Wyrm felt an irresistible urge to bow, to pledge his allegiance to this powerful entity. Without hesitation, he lowered his enormous head, his snout nearly touching the ground in a gesture of complete submission.

"May I have your name, Supreme One?" The Earth Wyrm's voice rumbled, a mixture of awe and reverence coloring his tone.

Enzo stood tall, his [Void Emperor's Aura] pulsing around him. He observed the Earth Wyrm's reaction with a mix of satisfaction and curiosity. This was a new experience for him, wielding such influence over a creature that would be a hard foe to face.

He had faced a dragon in his previous life and knew they were on another level compared to other beasts.

Becoming one cemented that fact in his mind.

"I am Enzo," he declared, his voice carrying an authority he was still getting used to. "Rise, Earth Wyrm. What is your name?"

The Earth Wyrm slowly raised his head, careful not to make any sudden movements that might be perceived as threatening. "I am called Terramor, Your Excellency. I... I feel compelled to serve you. This sensation, it's unlike anything I've ever experienced."

Enzo nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "That's only natural, Terramor. You're feeling the call to join my ranks."

Terramor's eyes widened. "Join your ranks? You mean... you would accept one such as me into your service?"

"Indeed," Enzo replied, taking a step closer to the massive creature. "Have you ever thought of leaving this dungeon?"

While Enzo went and took over the dungeons under the Prince's control, Port was busy setting up the descendant auction.

Appearing in a separate space that wasn't on the Razzar continent, he proceeded to pull up his friends list, a feature that became available when one entered the divine ranks above Tier-6.

He rubbed his hands together as he contacted one of his old friends.

A hologram materialized in the space in front of Port. The figure is a few feet taller due to them being a normal-sized human and not a godly midget like himself.

"Grand Elder Chen, it's good to see you," Port said, his cheeky smile causing the woman to rub her forehead.

"What do you want, Swolder?" Grand Elder Chen of the Phoenix Clan, Ari's grandmother, asked. "You never contact me unless you want something from me."

Port Swolder looked offended. "What do you mean? Can't I just call my good friend for a chat?"

Grand Elder Chen simply stared at Port, causing him to rub the back of his neck.

"I seem to need to hold a descendent auction, and seeing as we're not exactly on speaking terms with the other factions, I needed someone to initiate it."

Grand Elder Chen furrowed her brows. "You have a descendant in the Razzar Continent? That's impossible. The Dragon Clan hasn't had a descendant in multiple system integrations. Why now?…"

Port remained silent, letting Grand Elder Chen think. "The Mythic Alliance, which we're both a part of, put your Dragon Clan on probation. Likely to initiate a Clan removal from the alliance which can only happen after ten years of probation…"

Grand Elder Chen looked at Port in the eyes. "The integration, you're planning on betting everything on your descendant. If he fails, you'll lose your place in the Mythic Alliance, which will likely be the end of your Clan."

She frowned. "But how can they prevail over all the other clans? You can't offer your descendant much, and if the rest of the factions learn what you're trying they'll do everything to stop you."

Her eyes narrowed. "Why initiate a descendant auction anyway? It will let all the other factions know of your descendant's existence?"

Port laughed, his small stature hunting over as he slapped his knee.

He straightened, whipping the tears from his eyes. He calmed himself and then looked Grand Elder Chen in the eyes.

"We're dragons, Chen; we will never back down from a fight. Let them see, let them come. We're dragons, and we shall stand before you victorious in the end."

Enzo and Terramor made their way to the second dungeon, which had double the guards of the first dungeon, even though it was about the same strength.

His gains from the first dungeon included the Tier-1 Earth Element Dungeon Core, 6 levels, and 3 gold.

It had been a while since he had checked his full status sheet, so he pulled it up.

He hadn't gained any new or upgraded elemental mastery, so the only change to his stats was the three he received every level as a dragon.

Curious at the loyal companions part, he mentally selected it and was presented with an unfamiliar screen.

Enzo froze, and Terramor came to a stop next to him, looking around to see what had caused Enzo to halt so abruptly.

"Are you saying I can gain experience and level up by gaining loyal companions?"

[Only dragons, inheritor.]

A system message, along with an ancient voice, appeared in his mind.

[It's time we talk, inheritor. This old one doesn't want to see his legacy wasted.]
