Physique Evolution

Cedric had many friends in his previous life. His experience with them varied from one person to the other, but they mostly had one thing in common: ulterior motives. As the firstborn son of a tycoon, Cedric was always approached by people who wanted to befriend him for his status, wealth, or simply to feed their ego. 

After realizing that he was a prince in this world, Cedric felt betrayed by the fresh start he wanted to have. However, after realizing that most people hated him, he was relieved. It did sound privileged to think this way, but everyone had their own challenges. Furthermore, the grass was greener on the other side. 

A shadow rose from the ground, feeding on the negative emotions that Cedric had. The gigantic beast looked more eager to unleash the dark emotions its master had than to support him. The poor monsters that came to face his shadow were torn apart with ease.
