One Foot In Front Of Another

It felt like I had been walking for forever and a day, putting one foot in front of another, blinded to everything other than the vast whiteness in front of me.

I squinted my eyes, trying to block out the harsh light as it reflected off each individual snowflake.

Every part of my body was hurting, and I was pretty sure that all this cold wasn't good for my period. Even if I couldn't feel it. I wasn't sure how the nanos were dealing with it all. All that I knew was that I didn't need any products and I didn't have to change out anything.

The blood simply disappeared.

Which was good considering that there weren't any washrooms nearby for me to sneak into.
