Like every other part of this castle, the master bedroom was straight out of a fantasy. It shared the same gothic design that I loved, with the columns and overreaching arches. You could see the detail and artistry that went into carving the vines and other drawings that seemed to add to the idea that this room was built for a princess.
Or a pretender.
The tall ceilings were amazing, making the room feel so open and big, and just for a second, I pictured Ba'dqeel in here, wondering if he would have the horn space he needed. Honestly, the room alone was probably bigger than my husband's house in the compound, and I didn't think that there would be a problem having all four of my mates in this room all at once.
In the center of the room was a huge canopy bed, even bigger than Ba'dqeel's bed back on his ship. It looked to have been made of ice, just like everything else, but when I reached out to touch it, it seemed… almost warm.
