Fire And Ice

Time seemed to move at a snail's pace as The Retribution continued on its journey back to the Nycteromyian home world.

I spent most of my time watching movies with Ma'stbaut, Axis, Pure, and Wrukaog as we laughed over the humans' ideas of outer space. Wrukaog talked about being the leader of a horde and what brought their species as a collective to piracy.

He did admit that Raguk, the king of all Uugazts, had managed to find a planet for them to live on, thanks to Bai Mei Xing, but a lot of their people no longer liked the idea of being planet-bound. They had been born and died on ships for such a long time that the ships were their world more than a planet was.

I nodded my head as he continued to tell me about his crew and what everyone did. I offered to let him go back to his ship if that was what he wanted, but he simply shook his head. "I have a new home now," he smiled at me, and I let the matter drop.
