"I think I'll keep an eye on our new friend," stated Purity smoothly, placing his hand on Yaun'dcha's shoulder and squeezing it. "Make sure he doesn't poison the food or anything."
"He can eat it first," shrugged He'dtaalh as he walked back toward the bed. Zua'the had already moved to the side so that he was no longer in danger of smothering their mate while Ba'dqeel was trying to figure out how to remove himself from Ariel without her losing her mind.
"And when your father arrives?" interjected Axis, studying He'dtaalh's back. "What should we do then? Let him in?"
He'dtaalh turned to look over his shoulder at the blank expression on Yaun'dcha's face. "Kill him. It would kill two birds with one stone and make my little brother happy."
Purity grunted and nodded his head before steering Yaun'dcha out of the room again and back into the hallway. "You heard him. Let's go get Ariel some food."
