My Enemy’s Enemy

"Is it possible?" the Rein hissed as soon as he and the Priest were alone in his private quarters. "Could I really have another brother? Or is he just trying to protect that female?"

The Priest let out a silent sigh, praying for patience. It didn't seem to matter to the Rein, no matter how many times the Priest told him. The female was not his to touch. He just needed to make sure that she was well cared for and then pretended like she didn't exist.

And yet, the Rein was more enraged than ever now that he found out she was an Ethawainian.

"In his current state, he is unable to lie to you," answered the Priest, keeping all emotions out of his voice and making sure that it was soft. "Whatever he told you is the truth as he knows it."

The Rein's eyes narrowed as he stared out the window of his room. Not a single cloud danced in the sky, allowing all three suns to show their majesty and glory. Three suns for three sons.
