HOPE AT LAST

 Chapter 1

Once upon a time, in the city of Miami. There lived a young boy named George. He was a very intelligent, hardworking and talented boy. He had a friend, his name was Jason. Jason was not as intelligent as George. Jason would always play, joke, and make fun of people, while George would always study his book and think of being great in future. Both George and Jason's families knew each other. Jason's parents would always advice him to emulate from George's behavior. George was the only child of his parents, and would try as much as he could to make them proud. After his high college, he graduated with a nice result, better than that of Jason. This made his parents to take him to one of the best university in the city to study banking and finance. And once again, he graduated with a very nice result, which made many bank owners to contact him so that he can work for them in their bank. After everything, he decided to apply to Qullani Bank, which was the best bank in Miami.

Few days later, he was given the job, luckily for him, Mr. Michael, who was the bank owner, made him the bank manager which made him to earn millions of dollars on a basis. Jason on the other hand, got job in the same bank where George worked. But he got there through the connection his dad has with the bank owner, while George got there through hard work. George was in control of everything and body in the bank, even. Jason was also under George's control. George worked and managed the bank cooperatively, honestly, peacefully and humbled himself always, which led to an uncontrollable effective growth of the bank.

This made Mr. Michael, the bank owner to write an application letter for George by himself, applying to Central Bank, because he thought that George would be needed more in the central bank for more effective management of finance. He also helped him to park in to the Capital city. Without any interview, the bank gave him the job, and he earned greatly in the Central Bank too. Jason, his friend still worked at the Qullani Bank, under the control of another person who was the bank manager after George. George, who worked at the Central Bank never had time to call his friend, Jason, due to complex working activities and commitment to his work. And Jason wondered why his friend has not yet call him or even check up on him since the couple of months, he was transferred to the Central bank.

George also thought of seeing Jason, but did not have any time for that, and the Capital city was far from Miami. One day, Jason and George met each other while shopping at the shopping mall. When Jason saw him he looked away and continued shopping, but when George saw him, he called his name, but he ignored him. George then ran to him, although surprised by the way Jason acted the way he did. He ignored all the thoughts in his mind and apologized for not calling or checking up on him and the reason for that. Jason understood his condition and then forgave. And the two young men became friends again. When they were done shopping, George payed for what they both shopped, and then traveled back to the Capital city.

 During the weekend, George decided to travel back home, since he was discharged from duty for a week. He bought many for both his parents, Jason's parents and for Jason. When he got home, he was welcomed warmly with joy. He also went to Jason's house so as to greet them and give them what he had bought for them. After that, he went back home and rested, for he had a long journey. The next day, his parents called him out at the balcony telling him that there is something very important they wanted to discuss with him. When he came, he sat down . His father, Mr. Johnson, started with a prayer.

Chapter 2

After the prayer, he started by thanking his his son, George, for bringing joy into the family, he thanked him for making them proud, for building the family's reputation, for making them know that all the money they spent on him, were not in vain, for making them to know that having him as their only child was greater than those who has many children, for standing firm both morally and academically more than those whose parents were rich. After the appreciation and praiseful names, he decided to go straight to the point. He said that the reason for organizing the meeting, was to inform him about their quest for a grandchild, i.e for him to get married, since he was done with his education. George was not too surprised at the words of his father, because he has also taught of it. His mother, Maria, also advised him on the values of marriage. After the long time conversation, George thanked them and promised them that he would introduce a hardworking girl to them before the month ends.

Few days later, George traveled back to the capital city. He started his work the next day, and as usual, he did not have time to call or check up on anybody, because of the complex working activities. One day, as work was going on as usual, a sudden noise was heard outside the bank compound. Everybody inside the bank, including both the workers and the cleaners came out to know what was going on. When they rushed out they saw Engineer Benson, the bank owner in pool of blood, after he had collided with a truck in high speed. The manager, Mr. Mike, rushed in, collected his car keys, and quickly took him to the hospital. It was an emergency, and treatment commenced immediately.

When the doctor came out, she told Mr. Mike that he would be okay and it would take a long time before he would recover, but they needed an oxygen tube which was sold at the Fasdy and sons Medicine LTD, at their neighboring town. Mr. Mike had to call George to inform all the workers to close the bank, and retire to their various homes, and then rush to Fasdy and sons Medicine LTD and buy an oxygen tube. George quickly did as the manager had ordered and headed to the company. He bought it and rushed back to the hospital. When he got to the hospital, ran straight to the room, but unfortunately while running, he mistakenly collided with the doctor, she fell down and her eye glasses broke, making her not to see very well.

George, not knowing that she was the doctor apologized informally and continued running. It was when he got there and asked of the doctor that he realized what he has done.Without more explanation, he ran back to know whether she was still there. When he got there, he did not see her. After few minutes of search, he saw her in her office and apologized for not acknowledging her as the owner of the hospital and not apologizing formally the time he collided with her. The doctor, Mari was angry, but after few explanation she forgave him and then tried to fix her eye glass. And George, noticing her situation gave her a hand and then fixed the eye glass. She appreciated and rushed back to Engr. Benson room and continued with the treatment, with the oxygen tube and the help of her employees, while George and Mr. Mike, stayed outside the room. Engr. Benson was later admitted into an oxygen, still unconscious. 

When it was night, the doctor advised them to be there till the next day, incase of any necessity that needs an urgent attention and also to look after the engineer. But Mr. Mike who was a familied man had to go home so as not to keep his wife and children worried. He then urged George to stay there and keep an eye on the engineer. He also went to a nearby store and bought food and fruits for him to keep himself busy till day break, and then he went home. It was 11:00pm,and the doctor came back to the hospital to check up on everyone, if there was any problem or emergency. As everywhere was quite, she suddenly heard a loud noise. And the noise was coming from Engr. Benson's room, so she ran to that place to know what was going on. When she got there, she saw George on the floor holding his head, which was bleeding and his cloth socked with blood.

Chapter 3

She quickly rushed and brought the first aid kit and then treated him. When she was done, she covered it with bandage and plaster, and then asked him what happened to him. He told her that he licked a banana, and forgot to throw it into the waste bin, cause he was feeling sleepy. Few hours later he became suddenly pressed and forgot that the peel was still on floor. As he was heading to the toilet he slipped, fell down and hit his head on the chair where he was sitting. After narrating the story, the doctor broke into laughter. George wondered why she was laughing. The doctor looked at him again and continued laughing, when she was done, she told him to always keep his surroundings clean. She helped him up and told him to wait for her. She returned with a nice shirt and a short for him, and told him to be careful, not to hurt his head. George appreciated and waved goodnight. Then she returned home, while George went to the bathroom, took his bath and put on the clothes she gave him.

The next morning, Mr. Mike was surprised to see George in bandage. George then narrated his story to him. Mr. Mike also laughed at him, which George wondered why that was necessary anytime he narrates his story. Few minutes later, the doctor came and attended to Engr. Benson and to George, whom she always laughs at whenever she sees him. Not quite long after the doctor attended to them,Engr. Benson coughed. Mr. Mike rushed to call the doctor. But before they could get there, he was already awake laughing at Goerge, who told him his story after a short while of recovery. The doctor told them to get food for him so as to eat and rest. Mr. Mike went to buy the food while George stayed back entertaining and telling him how every one felt about what happened to him.

When Mr. Mike came back, he gave Engr. Benson the food. While he was still eating, he called Mr. Mike and George, pleading with them not to inform his wife about what happened to him. They found what he said as a very hard task, because his wife has called many times asking them what had happened to him, that he was not picking her calls. Mr. Mike asked him to tell them reasons why they would not inform neither the wife nor the children about what had haooen to him. Engr. Benson told them that his wife is a type of woman who worries alot and she will be disturbed, thereby also making his kids worried and uncomfortable. He also told them that she might even come back to the capital city and its alot of money travelling from China to the capital city. He also told Mr. Mike to Inform each and every member of the bank the in struction he has given.

The next day, Mr. Mike organised an online meeting with each and every member of the bank. He told them how their boss Engr. Benson was feeling and when he would be discharged. He told them all the instruction that Engr. Benson has given to them and the reasons for that. Some questions were thrown to him during the meeting, but he answered only the reasonable ones. He also appreciated them for their efforts and prayers towards their boss. He urged them to get ready, for their work which would commence the next day.

Few days later, Engr. Benson was discharged from the hospital. George on the other side, was asked to stay back few more days to receive proper treatment before being discharged. When he got home, he took his bath, ate and took a nap. When he woke up, he called his wife , although she was upset with him, she answered the call. After all the explanations and confessions, she forgave him and promised not to comeback or tell the kids about anything, and life moved on. So the next day, he decided to visit the bank. When he got there, everybody welcomed warmly including the outsiders who knew about the incident . He was surprised on what he saw, the way they welcomed him. Then he decided to have meeting with all the workers in his office.

Chapter 4

They all gathered and he started his speech. He thanked them all for how they have contributed immensely towards what happened to him, he thanked them all, most especially the manager for rhe growth of their bank, not withstanding all the things that happpened. After the speech, their was an applause. He then discharged them to their duty posts. But as they were leaving, he called them back and promised to increase their salaries for that month. Each and everyone of them were speechless and so happy. They appreciated him and went back to their duty posts.

George on the other hand became a close friend to the doctor. She would always come in the night to check up on him. She always buys him stuffs, whenever she comes to the hospital. He was later discharged after few days. Meanwhile, the doctor felt bad that he would be leaving. So he then consoled her and promised to call or even visit her whenever he's free. When he got home, he decided to start his work the next. But Mr. Mike permitted him to stay at home and start his work the upper week, although it's his choice. So he decided to stay back home. He kept himself busy, talking and chatting with Mira.

The upper week, he started his work. He worked dedicated as usual. He was also amazed when he heard what the Engr. Benson said. Suddenly, while working, he found out that his friend, Jason has not call him or check up on him, not even with a message. He took permission from his duty and called him. On several occasions has the call being folded, but he kept on trying, thinking that it was the because of the poor network situation around the bank. After many attempts, Jason later picked the call. George was so happy on hearing his voice, although Jason wasn't that happy, but he replied pretending to be happy. George apologized for not calling him since, and also asked him why he (Jason) has not been calling him. Jason lied telling him that got an online job that needs your 24 hours time to work. After the long time conversation and lies, they hanged the call, and George continued with his his his work.

The next day, George took a short time travel to Miami, to pay his parents a surprise visit. As usual, he bought alot of things for them, and was welcomed warmly. Although his patents were shocked to see him, especially his father. He also went to Jason's house, he gave his parents the stuffs he bought for them, and also to Jason, the one he bought for him. Not wasting any atom of time, he went back home. When he left Jason's house, Jason's mother, Katherine, took him inside and insulted him. Telling him that he's not ashamed of himself, collecting a gift from his childhood friend, who grew up with him, whose parents are more poor than his parents. She told Jason to go make money for his own good, whether legally or illegally, that she don't care. Not to talk more about giving them a grandchild, which seems impossible, cause he was not married. This made Jason to be jealous of George's wealth.

Meanwhile, George called his parents to tell them his reasons for visiting Miami. As he proceeded, the father interrupted with a short prayer. After the prayer he started again. He told them that he has found a perfect wife for himself. His parents were very happy and proud of him. They asked him the time he was going to introduce the girl to them. He didn't know, but promised to do that soonest. His mother asked him her occupation, but his father interrupted, telling her that its not her business. After the meeting, he went back inside to continue his packing.

Chapter 5

The next day, he travelled back to the capital city. That evening, he called Mira, telling her his idea of them visiting his parents so as to introduce her to them. Mira accepted immediately, because she always wanted to have someone that will treat her like their daughter, cause she is an orphan who grew up with her aunt. She made arrangements in her hospital and put one of her employee in control before she would come back, while George took permission directly from Engr. Benson. The upper week, they both travelled to Miami. George's parents welcomed them and treated Mira like an egg that might crack in the next minute. After the introduction, the father quitely called George to another place, asking him when he would propose to her. George told him that he has plans for that. Few hours later, they waved goodbye and travelled back to the Capital city.

When they got back, George thought on how to propose to her. Firstly, he thought of the venue, how to make her come to the place. And did not think of any good one. So he consulted Engr. Benson, Mr. Mike and his parents on what to do. After all the contributions, they arrived at a perfect plan. George then made arrangement, bought the engagement ring, payed for the venue and some people to perform some roles on that day. He also made the proposal to go the Internet, so that his patents can see, and also for his mates to see a new proposal strategy.

That faithful day, at 11:45am. Mira was in her office when a call came. She picked it, and it was a man (Engr. Benson), he told her that he was George's boss, and he haven't seen George since that day, and his phone was not reachable. Mira promised to call him. When he hanged the call, she tried calling him (George), and it was not reachable. She became worried. She tried it again, but this time, he picked the call. She asked him what was going on, but to the sounds of things it seemed that he was in danger and was not breathing well. She became so anxious. And immediately, the call was hanged. Another call came in, this time, it was an old woman's voice asking her if she was the friend to a banker named George. She answered. The old woman told her that he was shot dead, and directed her to the location to carry his corpes. Mira screamed and rushed to that place. When she got there she saw his body lying lifeless on the floor. She held his hand,and was crying. As she was crying, she opened her eyes and saw a paper beside him,with an inscription "WILL YOU MARRY ME". Mira was shocked in what she saw. She wiped her eyes and went to pick the paper. As she picked the paper, she turned and saw George kneeling down with a ring. Surprised,she felt embarrassed because of the cameras. She accepted and every body clapped for them cause the plan went well. George, also apologized for that kind of heart disturbing drama displayed.

The marriage ceremony was later planned. It was a memorable and joyful day in both George and Mira's life. Everything was beautiful, starting from the venue, to the food, to the decoration and then to the marriage colour. George's parents also came for the wedding ceremony. George's co-workers also came, Mira's employees came, their cousins, uncles, aunts, friends, relatives and well wishers. Jason and his patents were also present there on that day. After the vows they danced, drank, ate and made merry.

After the wedding ceremony, everybody went home to their different destinations while Mira went home packed her stuffs and went to George's house. A flight ticket was later book by George for his parents, Jason and Jason's parents. When Jason got home, he became more jealous of George, his mother would always advice him to do anything that would make him rich, more richer than George. Although his father doesn't tell him anything, he always left him to live any life he wants to live. So this made Jason to think of what to do make George's life miserable

Chapter 6

Weeks after the marriage ceremony,Mira became pregnant, in which, after nine months gave birth to their first child. It was a boy. They named him Henry. He was a handsome good looking baby. Paul and Maria, George's parents often visited to make sure their grandchild was okay and not being troubled or disrespected by the parents. They also made sure that he got the adequate massage he needed.

Jason on the other hand, has planned on how to make George and Mira's life miserable. He started by travelling to the Capital city and disguised himself as George cause they somehow look alike. When he got to Goerge's work place, some people noticed the difference between the real George and the fake George they were seeing , but couldn't tell. As he worked as George, Mr. Mike can close asking him that he taught he said would not be present to work that day. Jason in form George slapped him and pushed him to the wall where he fell and injured himself and ran out of the bank. People tried chasing him, but he was more faster to than them. That day too, he went to Mira's hospital, it was not a busy day, so the security of the bank was somehow poor. He sneaked in as one of the cleaner, and went to the room where drugs were kept. He injected a poison to all of it and sneaked out. This made all the people with the drug or drip prescription, end up developing another contagious disease, having a more severe disease or even dying. He also went and reported this to the government, telling them about the fake drug in Mira's hospital, they went to the hospital, made some investigation. Finding out that it was true they shut down the hospital. After this, Jason traveled back to Miami, and this made both he and his mother so happy.

The next day, George went to work, as usual he greeted everyone he comes across, but he noticed that everything was not right. Then he decided to go greet Mr. Mike, but he was not in his office. So he decided to go to Engr. Benson's office to greet him too. When he got there, he noticed that he was not happy, he greeted him and asked him where Mr. Mike was. Engr. Benson in anger, asked if it was the Mr. Mike he injured the previous day, that he is asking him of. George was surprised on hearing what Engr. Benson has told him. He told him that he did not do anything, besides he didn't come to work the previous day. Engr. Benson shouted and said that he don't have his time. He then handed a signed copy of paper showing that he is sacked. George couldn't believe his eyes, he tried begging him, but Engr. Benson, immediately called the security to come and take him away. George still shocked, left helplessly.

Mira on the other hand, went to the hospital with her baby, only to find out that her hospital was locked with a restriction sign "NO ONE SHOULD BE FOUND IN THIS AREA" . Mira was so surprised. She went to the government office to ask them why her hospital is being restricted from entrance. When she got there,she waited for the Divisional Police Officer, when he came out. Without any waste of time, he told her that her hospital was restricted, for fake and harmful drugs. She didn't understand what he was talking about. She found it as an accusation till the D.O.P brought one of her hospital drug. It was true, yes, but she knew nothing about that. The D.O.P was meant to arrest her but he left her because of her little baby. Mira went home so buttered.

When Mira got to the house, she saw George at home. She asked him why he is not at the bank. George told her that he was sacked. Immediately, Mira started crying telling George her own story. George, feeling bad, just got up and consoled her. After few minutes of shedding tears, they decided to think of their next move. George brought up an idea of travelling back to Miami, the upper weekend, before their rent will expire. They both agreed to the idea. George called his parents and informed them about their condition, and his parents agreed willingly.

Chapter 7

They travelled back to Miami, and lived on the small comfortable house that George bought with his last cash. His parents welcomed them all, but most especially, their grandchild, Henry. The next day, George and Mira decided to go and seek for a job. Jason and his mom were the happiest people on earth, when they heard that George and his wife relocated to Miami and they were looking for a job. It was very difficult to find a job in Miami. But meanwhile, after few weeks of job seeking, Mira found a job as an office cleaner, while George was employed as a car washer, cause they've lost everything they had. They put all there effort together to make Henry to attend a school. Henry did very well in all the activities given to him to do. Even as a small child, he understood that his parents were suffering to make sure that he was okay and standard, both morally and academically. When he was three years old, his mother, Mira, became pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy, and they named him Carter.

Fews years later, Henry graduated from the primary section and was admitted into the college on a scholarship. That was when they had their third sibling, luckily for them, it was a girl, and they named her Lucy. The three children always made their parents proud of them occasionally. George and Mira were also encouraged by their children's behaviour, so they had no choice than to keep trying their best to provide for them and make them feel comfortable.

After Henry's high College level, hewas entitled as the best graduating student in the college. His parents were so proud of him. This made George and Mira so happy, that they decided to take him to the university, even if it will cost them borrowing. He was admitted into the university, and as usual he graduated with first class. Jason on the other hand visited them often. George's family not knowing that he was pretending, always accepted and gave him food when ever he visited. Meanwhile, Jason met a group of men, who introduced him to a secret society.

Few days later, Jason's parents were declared missing. Jason in tears would always come to George's house to be consoled, cause they have been searched everywhere but there was no result. Not knowing that Jason was the one who kidnapped his parents for rituals. That faithful night, when they will be killed, Jason looked at his mum and told her that she said that he should make money, legally or illegally. So he chose the illegal aspect. Immediately after his speech, he shot them dead. Henry, after his university, decided to look for a job where he can practice his career, try on healing his grandfather who has been sick for weeks and at least help his parents to pay off the bills they are owing, and also to assist in training his siblings.

Some weeks later, Jason became mysteriously rich. Nobody knew where his wealth came from. He built a house, bought a new car and spends his money in parties and clubbing. But although that wasn't enough he planned on how to take George's precious gift, i.e Henry who has being doing well as a medical doctor , treating people including his grandfather and also assisting in the house both morally, academically spiritually and financially.

Chapter 8

Jason scheduled his plan perfectly. He taught of using Kelly, George's friend to accomplish his mission. He also taught on how much to pay her, the venue and the type of poison to be used. He did all things so as to marry her after his mission has been accomplished. So he called her and told her all his plan and the amount of money to pay her. Kelly, foolish enough accepted the offer immediately. She also planned it with her neighbour, telling her the amount of money to be paid.

That faithful morning, Henry went to his hospital as usual, where he receive a call, he picked it and it was Kelly's neighbour. He asked her what the call was all about. She told him that Kelly, his nurse and friend was dying and he needed to come and treat her at her house before she dies. Immediately, he drove to her house. When he got there, he saw Kelly. Although it looked as if she was sick, but it wasn't real. After prescribing some drugs for her, they persuaded him to eat before leaving so as not to be hungry at the office. He refused, but after so many persuasive words he accepted, but to be packaged so that he can eat it at the office. They packaged it, gave it to him and he went back to the hospital. During the afternoon, he became hungry, he checked and found out that the money in the drawal was not much. So he decided to eat the food that Kelly and her neighbour has prepared not knowing, it was poisoned. After eating, he noticed that he was not comfortable, but he thought that it was a stomach upset. When he got home, he complained this to his parents and grandparents. They gave him drus for stomachache and pains. In the late hours of the night it became worst. They had to rushed him to the hospital. After few minutes in the hospital, he gave up the ghost. When the doctor brought the news to them, it was as if the world has ended. They payed for the obituary and found out that he died of poison.

Few days after Henry's death, his funeral service was conducted. It was a very tragic one. Many people from far and near, rich and poor came for the funeral service. While the funeral service was still going on, a man came holding a paper written "DUBAI" asking who Henry Kelvin was. Everybody kept quite and asked him why he was looking for him. The told him that he won the online international examination that he applied for and that was his certificate. Everybody looked at each other and increased their level of tears and sorrow. That was when the man understood what was going on. He opened his bag, gave them some amount of money and leftwith the certificate, cause the qualifyer was dead.After the funeral, everybody went home giving the deceased family gifts including Jason who even cried like a baby.

Jason went home rejoicing, after he had pretended on George's face. He was so happy more than he had ever been. He also sent a huge amount of money to both Kelly and her neighbour. He also invited Kelly for clubbing, they enjoyed themselves. Days later, Jason proposed to Kelly at which she accepted after so many warning by her parents, cause Jason was old enough to be his father. Their marriage was a remarkable one, and only the rich people attended it, although George tried his best and was present on that day. Not quite long after Jason's marriage ceremony, Mr. Paul, George's father died of the contagious disease he had, which Henry was no more there to treat. And it was very expensive if treated at the hospital. He was buried weeks later.

Few days after his burial, Carter the second son called each and every member of the family to encourage them. He thanked them for how they have contributed immensely towards he and his siblings life and for everything they have done for them. He told them that the world is nothing, the only one has to do in the world is to be with Jesus, cause no on knows when. No one knows when his or her breath will come down and sieze to go back up. After many words of advice and encouragements, he concluded"JUST LIVE YOUR LIFE, NOT THE WAY YOU WANT IT , BUT THE WAY IT PLEASES GOD". Everyone was shocked and surprised for such an inspiring speech coming out from him.

Chapter 9

Carter, seeing the condition of his parents and family members would always do anything to make them proud, so as Lucy, their beautiful daughter, his beautiful sister. George and Mira never wanted neither Carter nor Lucy to suffer as they had, and to ensure that they are standard both academically and morally, even though it was hard for them. Carter, not as smart as Henry, always take second best whenever the result is been called out, while Lucy was the best.

One day, Carter came back from school with a paper, very happy. The parents thought that it was his result, but when he gave it to them, they saw it was an application letter to a state quiz. He told his parents that he wanted to participate, it was quite hard for them to agree, but the grand mother, pleaded with them. They agreed and gave money for. He paid for it and started getting himself ready. On the day of the quiz, when he was given the examination question paper , he was shocked by the question, cause he did not read that part neither have he seen it before. When he came out from the hall, he knew that he did not write well. When the result came out, he was among the last set whom their name was mentioned. George wasn't happy at all. When they went home, Carter was not happy. And did not think of talking to anybody.

Later that evening, George called him and told him not to be angry, cause it was not his fault that he did not pass. He encouraged him to keep moving and don't think of stopping. When he was done, he gave him another money to go and pay for another quiz, and this time, he should prepare more than he have ever done before. Lucy, his younger sister also encouraged him to try more harder, not only to make them proud, but to make his late brother proud.

That night, Carter was determined to pass the examination. He read both primary, college and tertiary books. He also read news papers. After reading, he prayed, slept and had a dream. In his dream he saw himself in an exam hall with his brother, who told him the places to read, cause that was the same examination his brother wrote. He also told him where to get the exam question paper copy. Immediately he woke up he did everything that his brother asked him to do. That day, he entered the exam hall and wrote very well. But when the result came out, he didn't hear his name in the list of those who passed. Again he went home angrily, only to see some men congratulating his father for his success.

He was still surprises, cause he did not hear his name among the people that wrote well. But he did not only write well, but he was the best. His average was nine points higher than the second best. They gave him his price and informed him about the international examination that comes the upper week. Days later, they ( Carter, the second best and the third best) traveled to the United States for the last competition.

Chapter 10

His group took the second position and was rewarded with $100,000 each and the opportunity to attend any university of your choice all over the world. Carter and his family were so happy. So they did not tell anyone about it, cause they were now rich, and they still remained at their normal status. It was only Jason that his father told about it. And this made Jason more jealous and thought on how to kill Carter. That evening, in the sitting room, while scheduling his plans. His wife Kelly advised him to change and stop killing innocent souls, but Jason slapped her and left with the paper that he scheduled his plans. In the night, Kelly looked for the paper, found it and thought on how to destroy his plan, she then scheduled her own plan.

The next day, Jason went to George's house in other to accomplish his mission. When got there, he did not buy anything for anyone, but only for Carter, telling him that it's his gift for his success. He also persuaded Carter to eat it immediately, but Carter refused telling him that he was not hungry. He (Carter) did that because he had a dream where Henry told him not to eat any thing that Mr. Jason (as they called him) will give him. Jason urged him to eat it multiple of times, even George noticed that something was wrong somewhere, but couldn't explain what was wrong. Few minutes later, Kelly arrived shouting and telling Carter not to eat it. When Kelly came near, she told them that Jason was a very wicked person Jason looked at them asking them if they believed what she was saying.

Kelly decided to bring her evidence, she brought the record she took when he made the plan on killing Henry. When Carter heard this, he went inside the house and called the corps, telling them the situation at hand. George can't still believe what he heard, he asked Kelly whether that was Jason's voice. When Jason saw the corps, he wanted to run away, but they shot him on his leg, and he fell down pleading for his life. He promised to confess. He said all the evil things he has done, how he killed his parents, how he made them loose their jobs, how he killed Henry and how he planned to kill Carter. George can't believe his ears. He can't still believe that Jason was the person making his life miserable for these years, thinking that he was his friend. Mira and her mother in law were already in tears, but Lucy went to console them. After everything he was arrested, and Kelly who was also meant to be arrested, was left for exposing the evil.

For hours, George was still shocked thinking about what happened that day, he thought of what he did to Jason to deserve all this wickedness and hatred. George pleaded with Carter to take him to the Capital city to see his boss Mr. Mike and Engr. Benson. They traveled and he went to Mr. Mike's house. At first, he saw a boy of about 12yrs. He told the boy that he was looking for a man named Mr. Mike. The boy directed him to where he was. When Mr. Mike saw him, he tried to get up, but it seemed very hard, cause he was very old. George rushed and hugged him so tight. He explained to him everything that happened. He also gave him some things he bought for him, and asked him who the boy was. He told him that it was his great grand son. George was kinda shocked, but no panic. He asked him about Engr. Benson, he kept quite for some time, George noticed that the expression on his face show that he's dead. So they all visited the family, reunited warmly. After this George and his son Carter travelled back to Miami.

Few weeks after these incidents, Carter payed for travel ticket to Italy. So that day he gave everyone their own as a gift. Not expecting it they just took it as a normal gift , just to open it and find out that it was visa. They were very happy. So the family relocated to ltaly and they always called and chatted with both Mr. Mike and Engr. Benson families. And they lived in peace happily, ever after.
