In exchange, humans went over the 4th Dimension and killed Canzers, the monsters that threaten the sanctity of the God's dimension. They are called Saviors.

At 18yrs old, Atlan finally gained a chance to become a Savior. But…he inadvertently gained the powers of the God of Death.

Grim Reaper in the Apocalypse: Reaping Immortals

Atlan walked through the winding tunnels for minutes on end, yet he hadn't seen anyone yet. It was as desolate as the Unclaimed Lands. At this point, he wouldn't mind a visit from a few more Deiztruphia Canzers.

Now that he knew how powerful his Physique LifeSkill was, he was more inclined to fight Canzers.

He closed his eyes and saw the large LifeSkill planet with melting horrified skulls plastered all over the surface. It didn't take him long to manifest a giant hand to grasp this planet in one hand.

Practicing his C class Mage LifeSkill Mucus Spray turned out to be a very good use of his time as he was able to transfer the knowledge of activating that LifeSkill to his other LifeSkills.

As long as he knew how to create that giant hand, he could activate any of his LifeSkills any time he wanted.

However, he was still limited by his inexperience as he still took a second to activate his powers.
