Chapter 27: I, Queen Selena, am not a weakling.

Queen Selena's face became red from all the humiliation. She struggled to maintain her composure but failed terribly; Vincent's remark had clearly hit a nerve, and she felt tongue-tied. She tried to mask her irritation, but it was still visible on her face.

Vincent smirked at the Queen's colorless face and how her face was twisting in rage, and the fact that she couldn't show him her anger made it even more amusing for him.

Queen Selena opened her mouth to say something, but her mouth simply stopped responding when she locked her eyes with Vincent's unyielding gaze. She felt lost, unable to respond, and felt like a cornered animal who would be dead in seconds if they dared to scream.

She realized that she was in no position to continue the conversation. The Queen gave a tight-lipped smile to Vincent and nodded curtly. "Yes, well, honesty is indeed a virtue. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must see other guests."
