Ava grinned, unbothered. "What can I say? It's my nature."

Adrian leaned back against a log, letting the warmth of the fire seep into his tired muscles. His gaze shifted to Hestia, who sat with her legs crossed, her head bobbing slightly as she fought to stay awake.

"Hestia," Adrian called softly. "You alright over there?"

Her marine-blue eyes blinked open, and she yawned lazily. "Mhm. Just... listening." A second later, her head lolled to the side, and soft snores escaped her lips.

The group exchanged amused glances. "Well, that didn't take long," Lilith said with a smirk.

As the night wore on, the conversation drifted toward the goddesses' pasts. Ava, ever the entertainer, leaned forward, her tone light and conspiratorial.
