Should I just buy new furniture?

Dongwoo's POV

Mr Soo gave me the address and keys to the new apartment. Well, it was quite fast. I'd say they were desperate to get the twins to start working right away.

I mean, with faces like that, they were going to fetch in hard gold.

But I felt sorry for them though. I'm not sure they ever had the mind of becoming models but they got mixed in this and went this far for me.

'Honestly, they're too naive and innocent. The entertainment industry isn't a walk in the park. I hope they'll be okay.'

I had to move into the apartment but first, I needed to look at it to know why I would carry with me from my studio, not that I had a lot, hahaha.

My things were a bit old, other than the cat equipment I had bought and also the new clothes I shopped for. So carrying worn-out things to the new apartment, I felt ashamed for some reason.

'Should I just buy new furniture?' I thought to myself, not knowing that an apartment of such standard would have everything equipped in it.

I took my camera, put Lily in her bag, and carried the bag in my front. The bag had a little transparent front that let Lily see everything from the inside. It was really expensive but I didn't mind because I had the cash, huhu. Having money to spend hits differently.

I already paid all my debts and that feeling of freedom made me feel alive. It was wholesome.

'No wonder they say people who have money don't age as quickly as those who don't.' I thought, humming to myself in delight.

People who already had a ton of money to spend didn't need to work extra hard, doing manual labor and the like so they didn't get body aches and scrapes all over their bodies.

They get to live long lives. And if they get sick, they have the money to treat it right away.

My steps slowed and I paused. Yeah, they have money to treat it right away. Without money, people die uselessly.

An image of my grandmother lying on her sick bed flashed through my head but I immediately shook it off.

'No, rich people die of sickness too. What am I thinking? Money isn't everything.'

With this said, I resumed my walk.

These days, negative thoughts often flow through my head but I try to stay strong. Unlike before when I had no one by my side, I have Lily now. If something happens to me, Lily would definitely cry... I think. Wait, do cats cry? Nevermind.

Well, she's an important character in my life now. She's like my child since I'm the only one she can rely on, and even if she may not cry for me, since our attachment is not yet so strong, I'll stay strong for her.

If something happens to me, no one will be there to take care of her. She'll be lonely and afraid and...

Gosh, I'm doing it again.

'Think positively, Dongwoo. Nothing is going to happen to you. You're alive and well. You have a job, a nice paying job. You're going to love your dream as a famous photographer.' I lifted my hand, aiming for the sun, and clenched my fists. 'Yes, I'm going to do it, Grandma. The sky is my limit. No one can take my mind off what's in front of me.'

Except when what's in front of you is two golden-haired handsome hotties who smile like angels. The sun literally shines on their face making it hard to withstand their brightness.

Shoot, how did I run into them already? I haven't even moved in yet. Is this how it's going to be from now on?

"Hyung, I'm so glad to see you." Seojun spoke up first, leaning closer and blinding me with his face.

'Yeah, so happy to see your fresh rays this time of the day.' I thought, of course not having the courage to say that out loud.

They noticed the bag in my front and asked,

"Hm, Hyung? What's that?" Seojun asked and I subconsciously answered,

"My child."

The shock in their faces made me realize what I had said and my eyes widened in dismay, causing me to wriggle my arms frantically.

"That... That's not what I meant." I said, but they were already hung up on the idea that I actually had a child because they were staring at the bag peculiarly.

And to make matters worse, Lily was asleep so they couldn't see her at all.

Wait, how could they believe such words? I mean, who puts a child in a bag like this?

Well, apparently, they did.

"Hyung, how... How did this happen?" Seojin asked, looking the most shocked among the both of them.

"How did such a thing happen? Is that even possible?"

"Well..."

"Who was it?" Seojun interrupted me, his contrast changing a great deal. I could tell he was angry but why, though? Even if it was indeed a child, shouldn't they be happy for me?

Well, let's clear up the misunderstanding first. I didn't like this drama. But before I could say anything, Seojin grabbed my shoulders and said,

"Who was that bastard, Hyung? Who was it that committed such an act against you?"

"I..."

Still, they didn't let me speak and came to their own conclusion, asking their own questions,

"Hyung, don't worry. " Seojun said, cracking his knuckles. "I don't know how this happened or how he did it but I'll find him and break his third leg."

I was dumbstruck. What was going on? Were they acting by chance? Why did this atmosphere seem so hostile?

"Wait, first of all..."

"Meow!" Lily woke up and I sighed. Now this would clear up the misunderstanding. She popped her head out through the transparent front and stared at the two who were getting into a hostile frenzy.

"I made a mistake by saying child but Lily is actually a cat. Please, don't misunderstand."
