Lie Hua took a deep breath and nodded. She began performing the movements again, this time more fluidly, seamlessly transitioning from one to the next. The audience watched intently, counting the movements in their heads.

As she finished the 12th movement, she continued without hesitation, moving into the second layer. The precision of her sword strikes and the grace of her movements were mesmerizing.

By the time she reached the 24th movement, a murmur of admiration spread through the crowd.

She didn't stop there. She moved into the third layer, executing the 25th to 36th movements with the same level of mastery.

But when it looked like she could easily execute the 37th movement, she suddenly halted. Confusion clouded her eyes as she tried to execute the 37th move again only to face an obstacle once again.

In the end, she sighed and gave up.

When she finally stopped after the 36th movement, Elder Zhao's eyes widened in surprise and admiration.

"Three layers!" he announced, his voice filled with respect. "Lie Hua has mastered three layers of the Wind Blade technique."

The crowd erupted in applause, clearly impressed by her achievement.

"90 points for mastering three layers within the time limit," Elder Zhao declared. "An outstanding performance!"

Lie Hua smiled modestly, stepping back to join the other disciples.

Li Yun grinned as he watched her performance. He felt that the talent of a five-star bone frame might not be as extraordinary as it seemed based on her mastery of the low-grade human-level martial technique.

His expectations for her were at least the 5th layer of mastery, if not the final 6th layer.

'I guess I overestimated the talent of a five-star bone frame,' he thought.

What Li Yun forgot to take into account was the short time frame of an incense stick of time to master the technique.

An incense stick of time is neither short nor long, so for her to master the technique to the peak of the third form was indeed commendable.

'If she has only 90 points on this test and adds her previous 150 points, she has a total of 240 points.'

He mused, comparing his own 25 points with the maximum 200 points he could get in this test.

After him came Wang Min, Mu Tai, and Xiao Guo, but their results were almost the same. While Wang Min and Xiao Guo reached the 11th movement of the 1st layer, Mu Tai could only reach the 10th movement.

They were given points between 20 and 30.

The disparity in the mastery of techniques between Gao Zhu and the others with superior three-star bone frames compared to Lie Hua, who possessed a superior five-star bone frame, was immense. It was like comparing the raw strength of an adult man to a toddler.

Li Yun realized the significant difference between them and smiled lightly, thinking his only obstacle to getting first place in the assessment was Lie Hua.

'But she is also the strongest one.'

He could sense that her strength had already reached the 4th level of Qi Training.

But he didn't worry about that.

After Gao Zhu and the others, other disciples with three-star bone frames were called based on the points they had gained in the last test.

They were given points between 10 and 20.

Finally, it was the turn of the nominal disciples, starting with Mo Han, who had the highest points among them in the last test.

The long-bearded elder gave him what he asked for, but he could only execute the technique to the 2nd movement of the first layer.

He was given only 6 points.

After Mo Han, other nominal disciples were called, but they could barely execute the 1st movement in an incense stick of time and hence gained only 3 points each. 

It was now the turn of the last-ranking disciple.

"Li Yun."

As his name was called, Li Yun stepped forward and appeared on the platform.

"Give me the strongest and most powerful technique of low-grade human rank."

He immediately voiced his desire upon reaching the platform.

"Kid, don't bite off more than you can chew," Elder Zhao advised in a stern tone.

Li Yun smiled in response.

"You don't have to worry, Elder Zhao, and be prepared. I might give you a heart attack this time."

"Humph!" Elder Zhao snorted, seeing that his kind intentions were ignored, but he didn't say anything more after hearing Li Yun's last words.

As a judge of the assessment, he couldn't interfere, and advising a foolish disciple was the best he could do.

The long-bearded elder, however, smiled mysteriously when he heard Li Yun.

"Are you sure, kid?" he asked.

Li Yun nodded.

The long-bearded elder pondered for a moment before he took out an old book. The cover appeared torn in places, and the entire book indicated its long history.

"This is a sword technique called Thunderclap Dragon Slash. Nobody has ever practiced this technique to the 6th layer in the Qi Training realm."

He handed the technique to Li Yun.

"Nobody has ever practiced this technique to perfection in the Qi Training Realm?" Li Yun was a bit surprised when he heard this.

"Indeed, to date, no one has touched the 6th layer in the Qi Training Realm." The long-bearded elder nodded.

Orion frowned for a moment and looked at the bearded elder.

"What if I master it right now within an incense stick of time?"

"Hahahaha," the bearded elder laughed heartily. "If you can really do that, then I will give you a top grade human rank cultivation technique and a martial technique."

Though he said he would give Li Yun benefits if he were to master the technique, he didn't have an ounce of confidence in Li Yun achieving that.

"It's a promise then," Li Yun happily smiled, thinking he had scammed an elder this time.
