Life Is Truly So Fragile...

What should I do? To kill or not to? Bray was puzzled inwardly. Suddenly his gaze became sharp, and he steeled his resolve. This was the world prison where one's life didn't matter at all, Bray considered his life priceless, despite knowing this fact.

Bray's hand shook as he lowered his eyes to look at his bloodied, shaky hand in shock. I actually killed someone! I am actually a murderer! No, that is not right, I did everything for the right cause, he tried to kill me for little to no reason, there was no reason to keep him alive.

Bray's thought moved rapidly as he tried to justify the fact that he had just killed someone for the first time in his life. This is no longer the earth where I grew up, this is a chaotic and desolate place where life and death existed on a daily basis. Bray nodded as his rational thoughts slowly returned.

He suddenly remembered that the fact that he had killed someone would definitely bring punishment. I wonder if I will be killed in return. Bray wondered as his gaze abruptly lingered on Vin's dead body.

His pupils immediately shrank, as a startled expression appeared on his face. Around Vin's body there were multiple cards floating around. Before he could react, they flew towards him and entered his storage space, and at the same time he felt the increase in his versatile points by a hundred.

Bray was about to slide the notifications to the side while at the same time ignoring the information about the abilities gained when he heard the last three statements. The first one of the three was alright, as Bray knew that this was the ability Vin possessed.

But what the hell was earth barrier and sword enigma, an A-grade and S-grade ability? System, how the hell do I possess two extra abilities??? Bray asked with an expression of disbelief, and at the same time he activated the time pause feature so that no one would be able to see his stunned expression.

[When one reaches power level 100, their true ability prowess is awakened. Following which, at the same power level, a new ability is awakened.]

Bray continuously nodded inwardly as though he had come to an understanding, but inwardly he was also extremely shocked to the core. So one doesn't just possess one ability throughout their lifetimes. 

Before this, Bray had thought that it was the ability that one awakened at the beginning of their lives that they would be stuck with for the rest of their lives. Now that he realized how ignorant he was, one could continuously awaken abilities as long as they increased their power level to a certain extent.

I recall that previously, when I awakened the system, it had said that all the abilities one possessed would be dropped when they died at my hands. I didn't imagine it would be this big of a deal! 

At this moment, Bray had already forgotten the feeling of killing someone for the first time, after all, Vin was in the wrong. He was trembling with excitement because, just like this, he had become the strongest person in this cell.

Bray's gaze was solemn, and he looked towards the door, awaiting the appearance of the two guards. He didn't wait long, in just a few moments, the footsteps reached the door as the door opened and two guards walked in.

The man on the right glanced at Bray and asked, "Are you prisoner 0? Why did you kill this man?"
