Memories

"Eurrgghh.... Eurghh..."

Dwayne was barely suppressing the shout threatening to come out of his throat.

Big brother, with his last ounce of strength, raised his finger over his lips.

"Remember your promise. You must keep quiet." He mouthed.

And his eyes closed.

The men who shot him started to come inside the room one by one, scaring Dwayne even further. The pain of his lungs barely breathing air suffocate him. The loud pounding of his chest was defeaning in his ear. He was sweating profusely, but he wasn't feeling hot. He was cold all over.

His whole body can't stop trembling.

Dwayne was helpless as he watch his big brother being dragged away, lifeless.

Dwayne could not remember what happened to him afterwards. His big brother's lifeless body covered in blood was the last thing he can remember from that memory.

And the catalyst was that woman he saw that killed herself in the counter.
