Ch. 198 : The Witch Queen of the Underworld
The Underworld had never been silent. Even in the absence of its king, the rivers flowed, the dead whispered, and the shadows stretched across the vast, endless lands. Yet in the past three years, everything had changed. At first then change was subtle but overtime it became much more prominent that it could not be overlooked.
Hecate stood at the heart of Erebus, the throne room carved from onyx and obsidian, its cold walls adorned with the flickering glow of blue witchfire. It was a throne she never desired, a crown she never sought. And yet, for three years, she had ruled.
The Underworld had not crumbled. It had endured. It had grown.
And so had she.
