Then there's the CEO named Odin and his twin sons named Loki. Could these mythological connections be more than coincidence?

The morning after our podcast appearance that broke the equivalent of the Internet in the Celestial Realms, I have second thoughts about launching our very own Wendigo Inn podcast. It doesn't help that everyone and their mother and their mythical sidekick comes up to me with suggestions.

"Make it short," one of the fauns from the restaurant says. "Some of us work and don't have time to listen to people blathering on into infinity."

"Uh, yeah, that would not be good, since you work for me," I say.

Someone else, a Roc staying at the hotel, advises me to have a longform podcast. "I can listen to three- or four-hour podcasts and never get restless."

"Only Joe Rogan can do a three-hour podcast and not have people clicking away," I say.

"Never mind. Thanks for your input."
