Van Thomas has just inherited a house from his late grandparents in the countryside and has moved into it--only to realize the house is a rather popular resort that serves all kinds of customers all year round. As the owner and manager of the building, he realizes that the inn caters to an unusual clientele, and has an even more unique staff. His secretary is named Daji. A pirate named Waverly Leviathan with   resemblance to Poseidon often stays. Daji's nephew often stays and calls himself Sun Wukong. A novelist and screenwriter, Athena, is working on a masterpiece. Then there's the CEO named Odin and his twin sons named Loki. Could these mythological connections be more than coincidence?

From the grins breaking out around the studio, this news is huge. The name of the magazine rings a bell. I think I've seen it on the coffee tables in the guest rooms, and a copy or two floating around the lobby. A prestigious glossy magazine like Conde Nast Traveler or The Robb Report. And we're Luxury Resort of the Year?

Stunned, I want to pause the podcast, but we're coming to the close of our first episode, so I keep on going.

VAN (Host, surprised): Well. This is something. You know, I think a copy of the last issue of that magazine is in each guest room.

DAJI (Host, smug): Yes. But, obviously, not the issue that will announce that we're one of the contenders for Luxury Resort of the Year in the Celestial Realms!

VAN: We'll have to buy some extra issues of that one.

SUN WUKONG: Already done. That's what any good vice-president does--anticipates the bosses' requests.

Chapter 205: Resort of the Year!
