046. The Cost of Kalomba Ritual.

What is that thing? 

Its appearance is so disturbing and uncomfortable. Why would a goat have a human face? 

The blonde-haired girl could only remain silent as questions filled her head.

For some reason, Jessica couldn't move. This feeling of fear was the same feeling she had when she tried to enter Rama's mind. 

The creature was a kalomba. But Jessica certainly didn't know about the local mystical creatures, all she knew was that she better be quiet and stay alert if she wanted to survive. 

The kalomba was walking in a strange way, it was walking with its head bowed and walking backwards. 

Jessica still didn't know what was going on, but she was beginning to understand that the creature was part of the ritual.

The kalomba walked towards the circle in the center of which was a pile of grated coconut pulp. 

The creature arrived at the center of the circle and ate the grated coconut.
