James had been driving for a long while, but he did not speak all the time. He pursed his thin lips and his expression was a bit serious.
Elizabeth glanced at him several times. She felt that the atmosphere in the car was a little stiff, so she whispered, "James?"
"Hmm?" He looked back at her and smiled gently.
"Why don't you speak?"
"Didn't I speak?"
Elizabeth heard this and wanted to roll her eyes at him.
He didn't say a word to her after getting in the car, okay?
"Of course." Elizabeth nodded with certainty and asked, "Are you unhappy?"
"No, why should I be unhappy?"
Elizabeth snorted, "Is it because you've been waiting for me for too long?"
James frowned and gave her a sidelong glance, "What nonsense are you talking about? Didn't I speak to you just now?"
"Then why don't you talk?" He always talked a lot when he came to pick her up in ordinary times.
"Well, maybe I am a little tired, and..." He thought for a moment and said, "I'm hungry."
