"Don't open the door yet," Grace called out to Alice.
"Why are you afraid of her?" Alice looked like she was ready to fight. "She's the one who came to you. It's a waste if we don't take this chance to teach her a lesson."
Grace said, "I know. Why don't you put the groceries in the kitchen first?"
"Huh?" Alice blinked her eyes in astonishment and then said, "You're really something."
She then picked up the groceries from the floor and brought them to the kitchen.
Grace nodded with satisfaction. "That's it. I'll settle things with her myself."
"Knock-knock," the knocking continued.
Marry seemed like she was going to keep on knocking if the door was not answered.
"Let's answer it. I'm afraid she would leave and we won't be able to sort it out with her," Alice said worriedly.
"Don't be in a hurry. Let's test her patience," Grace said. "Based on my understanding of her, she wouldn't give up easily until she reaches her goal. I think we should wait."
"But—" Alice hesitated.
