Grace frowned.
Heinz decided to be gentler so he softened his tone, "I admit that I have a lot of shortcomings, but I'm not that heinous. You can't deny that I'm actually a good person."
Grace kept silent.
"Ask yourself, am I a heinous man?" asked him.
Grace questioned herself and concluded that Heinz was not that kind of person. However, they were not suitable for each other, and she was afraid that he would hurt her so much that she would rather die.
She was afraid that she wasn't strong enough for that.
"See? You can't even give me an answer." Heinz's tone became softer and even a little sad as he continued, "Grace, since I am not a heinous man, why don't you give me a chance?"
It had to be said that he was eloquent, but she remembered how he had hurt her, and she felt a burst of panic inside.
She was traumatized.
