Chapter 359 An Insurmountable Obstacle

Jensen stared at her with eyes full of regret and pain.

"I won't hurt you again," he promised.

If Alice had paid attention to his words, she would have asked him what he meant when he said 'again'.

However, at that moment, she was deeply moved and did not understand clearly the meaning of his words.

Her eyes seemed to be shrouded. She looked at him and said in a trembling voice, "You are a good person, Jensen."

His heart rate dropped when she had called him a 'good person'.

Was he truly a good person?

He was the person who had hurt her.

He was a policeman, so he understood fully the extent of his action.

Apart from that incident, he had never done anything that was against his conscience. That was the only thing he regretted in his entire life.

When Alice said those words to him, he felt extremely guilty and was afraid to look into her eyes.

In addition to that, he felt extremely painful and burdened in his heart.

"I'm not a good person," Jensen said hoarsely.
