Grace and Ernest were both startled at Little Gary's voice. They turned and looked at him.
"Little Gary," Grace called out. "Come here."
Little Gary didn't move.
Grace paused, calling out for her son again. "Little Gary?"
Little Gary then threw his schoolbag side and walked towards them.
After that, he did not say anything. He took off his shoes and climbed onto the bed. Seeing Grace and Ernest holding each other, he knew that what Heinz said must've been true.
"Is Ernest really my younger brother?" Little Gary asked.
"Yes." Grace nodded. "Ernest is your younger brother. Mommy gave birth to twins, but he was taken away by your auntie and uncle. It's all my fault that I didn't protect the both of you."
Little Gary paused. "So, it's because of those two monsters."
Monsters?
Heinz was startled when he heard the words coming from Little Gary's mouth.
