She wasn't her father's child?
Grace felt her heart clench.
"What do you mean?" She glared at Marry coldly. "Are you saying that I'm an illegitimate child?"
"Yes," Marry replied firmly, "You are an illegitimate child."
"How is this possible?" Grace's expression fell.
She took a step back and leaned against the wall, her eyes filled with sad realization. Marry looked at her. "Do you think I'm lying?"
Grace remained quiet.
Marry smiled bitterly. "Now that I've been brought here, and got treated that way by Simon, I've lost all of my fantasies and consideration for all of you. I'm not afraid to burn bridges now. What else do I have to lose? Ask me anything. I'll tell you the answer."
Marry looked at Grace and suddenly realized something.
The cat was finally out of the bag.
