"Okay!" Pearlyn immediately came to her senses and hurried to help Nathan. The two of them went to the back of the house.
When they reached the back, Nathan instructed the housekeeper, "Nobody disturb them. Let them reminisce about the old days."
"Sure!"
Only Heinz and Jodie were left alone in the room.
The surrounding was very quiet, so much that only their breathing and Jodie's sobs could be heard.
Heinz didn't hug Jodie back. He just stood there with a cold look in his eyes.
"Heinz, I missed you so much." Jodie cried and said, "I'm sorry for making you feel capricious. I regret it very much. I was very angry at that time. I shouldn't have done that to you."
She expressed her regret, but another face flashed through his mind: Grace's.
Grace wouldn't cry like this. She would rather keep everything in her heart than cry like this.
Heinz was too absent-minded to pay attention to Jodie's sobs at the moment.
