Heinz looked at Grace as he held her in his arms and said, "I hope that after this crisis, everything unpleasant will vanish and we can be happy together."
"Everything will be fine," she replied as she gazed at him with tenderness. She felt that the experience this time around really calmed her down a lot.
"In that case, shall we get our marriage registered tomorrow?" Heinz seized the opportunity to lay out his cards on the table. This was what he worried about the most; the fear that she would not want to marry him, so much so that it had him feeling anxious.
Stunned, Grace recollected herself then, and responded, "We're in no hurry to get married. Why are you in such a hurry?"
How could Heinz not be anxious? They have almost registered their marriage last time, but alas, what happened, happened. It is only understandable why he was worried that Grace would leave him.
