Grace understood how the little fellow felt right away. Lowell, Heinz and her were similar.
"I understand." She nodded seriously and reached out to rub his head, "You are a benevolent child."
"Grace, can I really trust you?" Lowell didn't seem to be sure whether she was comforting him or not.
She was amused, but not angry, "What do you think? Apart from trusting me, do you have any other choice?"
At this moment, he smiled.
"I trust you, Grace." He was bashful. "I just don't quite believe my ears."
"Silly boy." She glanced at her watch and asked, "Have you finished your homework?"
"I'm done," Lowell answered. "I got full marks for my recent exams."
"Really?" Grace was really amazed. "A straight-A student?"
Upon hearing that, he felt even more embarrassed and mumbled, "Well, I'm not that great, but I know some knowledge."
