Gary thought for a moment before nodding. "Alright then. If that's the case, it'd be better if you sent me back. It'll save me a cab."
Hearing this, Janice curled her lips, and there was a smile in her eyes. "That's more like it. After all, we are classmates. Is there any need to be so distant?"
"Let's go." Gary dragged his luggage and followed her to the parking lot.
On the way back, Gary sat in the passenger seat.
Janice drove her car and smiled casually. She complained to Gary, "I was thinking about how heartless you were back in England and now I regret offering you a ride. I should've let you take the cab."
"What do you mean that I was heartless? You're so ungrateful. If I hadn't saved you back then, you would've been sent back a long time ago. Don't be so greedy."
"You have the gall to say you weren't heartless. You threw me away and you didn't care at all. Even a stranger wouldn't do that. Not to mention, we're classmates."
