"Cindy White!" Sinclair roared, interrupting her.
Cindy smiled and said, "Oh, what's wrong? You're afraid that I'll mention what you did before, aren't you?"
"Shut up," he hissed, looking very embarrassed.
Monica was also surprised, but she quickly came back to her senses. She looked at Cindy and said in a low voice, "You knew about it?"
"Of course," Cindy replied with a smirk. "I know all about it. You lost your virginity to Sinclair, and so did I. How lucky of him! Both of us were left in the dust when he married someone else, and here we are slaving away for his company."
Sinclair cleared his throat. "All right, let's stop talking about the past. The question is, what should we do now?"
Cindy picked up her wine glass and looked at them as she said calmly. "I can't just go along with whatever you plan."
"What do you want?" he asked.
"Let's just drink," she replied as she raised her wine glass in the air. "We won't have many opportunities to do this in the future."
