"Don't apologize to me. I won't forgive you even if you do." Leah's tone softened considerably, and she sounded like she wanted to cry.
Ernest was incredibly upset. He was full of guilt and struggle whenever he thought of Leah ending her pregnancy.
"I know that you don't want to forgive me, and I know that you're really mad. It's all my fault. You can be mad at me, but don't be so mad until you hurt yourself."
Ernest continued to hold Leah in his arms, and his tone was full of regret.
Leah was confused.
"You don't have to talk to me like this. Can't you just act normally?" Leah asked.
However, Ernest completely ignored Leah and continued, "I'll change, Leah. I'll never agree to a breakup, so you're still my girlfriend. You're the only one for me."
Ernest then raised Leah's chin so that she was looking at him. Then, he said, "You will be the only woman I love for the rest of my life. There won't be anyone else for me."
