Chapter 111 URGE TO CRY

SUZIE’S POV

I stumbled, falling to the floor as I clutched my chest tightly. My eyes were wide, and I couldn’t stop looking at the wound on Elliot’s hand. He couldn’t look at me, as he kept his eyes glued to the ground, a look of sadness and regret plastered on his face.

“That’s not...that’s not what I think it is...is it Elliot?” I asked, my voice as low as a whisper.

The whole room remained silent as everyone was just as shocked as I was. I could feel sadness rising up in my chest and my throat began to fill up with tears. Elliot’s esys remained glued to the ground and he refused to spare me a glance, or even talk to me.

My breathing became uneven and I clutched my chest as I struggled to breath. I looked at the wound once again, and the way mucus oozed out of the red flesh that lay bare. It fit the description of what Elliot had mentioned, but a part of me did not want to believe it.

Roy came to my side, wrapping a hand around me.
