Chapter 9

Harper still remembered the first time she called him honey after marriage, and he disgustingly said, "Don't call me like that, it's disgusting."

Andrew seemed momentarily possessed, reaching out to hug, but she retreated as if fleeing, without any lingering affection. His heart sank, feeling a bit empty in his arms.

Jacob had already retreated to the corner, eyes sore. Seeing Harper pick up the pen, not even looking, and directly signing, he couldn't help but speak up, "Miss Flynn, won't you check it?"

"It doesn't matter," Harper smiled, having no other requests from Andrew.

Seeing Andrew didn't give any other instructions, Jacob neatly collected the divorce agreement and left.

Inside the room, the two who had just dissolved their marital relationship were momentarily silent.

Harper was the one to break the silence first, "When is Noah's surgery scheduled?"
