Chapter 26

Harper had always been prone to tears since childhood. That time when she fell from the tree, even though she was caught by Andrew, she cried for hours on end, as if the moisture in her body turned into an endless stream of tears.

At first, it was thought to be from the shock of the fall, but later it was realized that she was crying for Andrew's fractured wrist.

Andrew was bemused because even he didn't cry. If she had actually been injured, wouldn't she cry for a whole day and night?

Later, it was understood that she wasn't fragile, but couldn't bear to see him injured. So, how many tears did she shed during his accident? As a result, in the two years of their married life afterward, she never cried in front of him again.
