Chapter 9: Austin, Let's Get a Divorce

Harper's husband, Victor, a good friend of Austin, sat across from him in a white coat.

"Yeah, Nora came to the hospital just now. She's pregnant," Austin said, looking rather somber and not particularly pleased.

Despite being strong and tall, this man also felt helpless sometimes. While he could command the business world, he faced numerous obstacles in matters of love and marriage.

"I heard from Harper. She kept saying you're an asshole," Victor remarked.

Austin was indifferent. Indeed, when it came to Nora, he was an asshole.

"However, Nora truly loves you. It's been so many years; you should let go. She's the best choice as your wife," Victor advised.

Austin shook his head. There were mountains and rivers between him and Nora, and they had hardly communicated in this lifetime. "If I'm with Nora, it would be unfair to Aria. I've wronged her once before, and I can't do it again this time."
