Running numerous red lights, Austin hastily rushed to the hospital. He grabbed anyone he could find, frantically asking about Nora. It wasn't until he reached the operating room that Austin finally calmed down. He stared numbly at the door of the operating room, his face pale as if the surrounding air had frozen. His footsteps became heavy and weighed down.
The crying of a baby brought Austin's attention back. He pressed against the door, a mix of relief and anticipation in his expression. This was the child between him and Nora. However, thinking about his cruelty before, he became afraid. Confronting Nora and his own child loomed before him like an insurmountable challenge. The realization of being an inadequate father weighed heavily on him.
The lights in the operating room went out, and Austin shouted, "Nora, Nora!"
The doctor came out, and upon seeing Austin, asked, "Who is Nora's family?"
"It's me!" Austin nervously replied.
