"Hey, hey, hey! You three! Didn't you just say this was going to be a simple spar? How did it turn into a serious fight all of a sudden? And now you've even pushed Kaio-ken to five times?! Are you planning to destroy my planet?" North Kai shouted.
If they were to go all out here, wouldn't his planet be doomed?
He absolutely would not allow such a thing to happen.
Even though he could use his divine power to restore it afterward, that would be far too troublesome.
"Don't worry, North Kai. Our battle won't take place here." Talot smiled slightly, then slowly ascended into the air. He glanced at the battle-ready Salari and Raditz, signaling them with his eyes. "Let's go. We'll fight above Snake Way!"
"Alright!" Salari responded immediately.
Raditz showed no hesitation either and took off into the sky.
Their previous battles had already taken place above Snake Way before.
That vast space was far larger than the surface area of a large planet.
Moreover, fighting above Snake Way was an extreme challenge in itself.
After all, below the Other World lay Hell, and once someone fell, getting back up wouldn't be easy.
Of course, for them, it wasn't much of a problem since they all knew Instant Transmission.
Raditz had learned Instant Transmission too?!
That's right!
Under Salari's guidance, Raditz had learned it in no time.
Watching the three of them leave, North Kai finally let out a sigh of relief.
He had truly been afraid that they would unleash their full power right here.
But now that they had left North Kai's Planet, he wasn't as worried anymore.
At the very least, his territory—and more importantly, he himself—wouldn't be in danger.
As a Kai, he had the ability to observe the battle from afar, so he didn't even need to rely on his physical eyes to see it.
…
Above Snake Way.
Now that they had left North Kai's Planet, the battle between the three resumed once again.
This time, Salari and Raditz took the offensive.
The battle was just like at the very beginning, but the difference was that the level of power being used was completely different, and so was the intensity of the fight.
Facing Salari and Raditz, who had used 5x Kaio-ken, Talot did not hesitate to unleash the full power of his base form.
To be fair, after his immense power increase, even when using his full strength against Salari and Raditz, it was incredibly difficult for him.
One versus two—while suppressing his power, he could fight them fiercely without falling into a disadvantage.
But when fighting at full power, things were different.
It was a pure melee brawl, and with the battlefield being so vast, they had more room to maneuver and unleash even greater attacks.
'Boom!! Bang!! Thump!! Bang!! …'
The deafening sonic boom shook the space as they fought fiercely all the way from this side of North Kai's Planet. The three of them traveled freely among the clouds of the Other World, even touching them occasionally.
Fortunately, thanks to them being separated by Other World, neither Hell below nor Heaven above was greatly affected.
Of course, at this level, their power wasn't exactly weak, but it wasn't overwhelmingly high either.
After all, think about those beings imprisoned in Hell in the original work—those were some truly powerful figures.
Even if their soul bodies couldn't exert their full strength, one undeniable fact was that they still retained a great deal of their power. Most importantly, those villains still maintained the physical forms they had in life.
"The warm-up is over! Now I won't hold back anymore, Talot!" Raditz shouted loudly. At this moment, he was finally fighting at full capacity.
Of course, he didn't further increase the Kaio-ken multiplier, but his attacking rhythm and power control became even more intense.
He took the lead in the offensive, forcing Salari out of the battle temporarily, leaving her with no choice but to step aside.
Talot was pushed back by Raditz's sudden burst of power.
"Impressive. The power behind your punches and kicks, as well as your attacking technique, has become even more refined. But if you think that alone is enough to defeat me, you're still far from it." Talot smiled confidently.
Facing Raditz's ferocious onslaught, Talot deflected each attack and swiftly countered, regaining control of the battle.
Raditz had the upper hand at the start, but as the fight continued, he gradually began to lose momentum.
This was the biggest weakness of Kaio-ken—its explosive power at the beginning was incredibly strong, but as time passed and energy was expended, the explosive power would gradually decline.
Until eventually, when Talot got completely serious, his unique combat style pushed Raditz to the point where he could no longer retaliate and could only struggle to defend himself.
Was Raditz weak?
Not at all!
Even in this situation, where their current power levels were nearly equal, Raditz still found it difficult to fight back.
It was just like Talot's battle with Cooler—if one's strength didn't continue to rise, they would quickly be overwhelmed.
[Kaio-ken may temporarily boost power level, allowing someone to fight opponents beyond their usual strength, but in the end, it's just a shortcut. My battle with Cooler was like this, and so is my fight with Raditz. Techniques can enhance one's strength to the limit, but if they become a long-term crutch, their strength will never improve further.]
With this realization in his heart, Talot felt a sudden urge to give up on Kaio-ken.
Of course, that wasn't possible at this stage.
"Damn it! If close combat won't work, then take this attack instead!"
In an instant, Raditz disappeared from view.
Talot was slightly startled, but his gaze quickly locked onto Raditz—he had already reappeared a thousand meters away.
From Talot's perspective, Raditz had become nothing more than a tiny shadow in the distance.
However, he had no choice but to take this seriously, because at this moment, the power level Raditz was radiating had surpassed 1.6 to 1.7 million.
It gave off an intense sense of crisis—almost suffocating.
"I can actually feel this kind of pressure even when facing him? Raditz, your strength has already reached such a level," Talot muttered to himself in amazement.
All this time, he had been sprinting ahead while the others followed leisurely behind, so he had never felt any real pressure.
But now, Raditz had worked his way up to the point where Talot could feel him closing in.
With a serious expression, Talot showed Raditz absolute respect. He raised his hand and began gathering energy. "I'll take your ultimate attack head-on!! Solar Bombardment!!"
A blazing fireball of energy formed in his palm, radiating intense heat like a miniature sun, quite terrifying to behold.
As Raditz's Begone streaked toward him, Talot hurled his Solar Bombardment straight at it.
'BOOM!!!!!!!'
In an instant, the two energy attacks collided, unleashing a terrifying force that expanded outward in a massive shockwave, with hurricane-like winds howling across a thousand-mile radius!
Although the storm weakened as it spread, in this vast open space with nothing to obstruct it, the energy dissipated much more slowly.
In fact, the shock from this clash of power rippled all the way to King Yemma's Palace in the Other World.
As for North Kai's Planet, it naturally felt the impact as well—and it felt it the most clearly.
