Kate's POV

She looked at me with her eyes popping, as though she was slowly losing it.

I knew Christina to be somewhat emotionally volatile, and I didn’t think this prison cell was doing any good to her already declining mental health. But to say anything to her about that was simply asking her to strangle me through the cell gates if she could manage it. I liked my head where it was, so I nodded in understanding, "I will, I most certainly will. But you just have to be a little bit patient. I know your mother won't let you suffer for nothing. It's the space, I suppose that is really terrible."

"It’s Everything! Everything plus this place is terrible! All of it is terrible. Why could he simply not let me be? Strange as it may sound, I truly believe I was experiencing a reform where I was.
