Chapter 22 Identity Exposed

Lin Yan secretly tossed a few potatoes and some cucumbers onto the shelf in the kitchen.

She had promised Lu Chenyuan that once they finished the vegetables she bought, she would leave.

Lu Chenyuan discovered Lin Yan's little trick; the more they ate, the more vegetables there seemed to be.

Lin Yan cooked every day as usual, while Lu Chenyuan rarely ate. Occasionally, he would help in the kitchen, but his cooking skills were not great. He couldn't be relied upon to stir-fry, at most he could chop some vegetables or peel garlic.

The weather was getting colder, frost had set in, and the sudden onset of winter was hard to adapt to, especially for Lin Yan, who still used only a thin blanket.

After making lunch, Lin Yan started rummaging through the wardrobe to find clothes for Lu Chenyuan. It was so cold, and he wore so little, it looked chilling.

"Don't you have any winter clothes?" Lin Yan searched for a while, but couldn't find a single seasonal garment.
