Mo Nanze's deep black eyes stared at Lu Yinfeng's face.
There wasn't a trace of emotion at the bottom of his eyes, as if he were looking at an inanimate object.
Lu Yinfeng froze, even forgetting to step out of the elevator.
The look in Mo Nanze's eyes was so different from before that she couldn't bear it.
She felt an inexplicable urge to cry.
As the elevator doors were closing automatically, Mo Nanze reached out a hand to stop them.
"What are you daydreaming about? Hurry up and come out," Mo Nanze said in a hoarse voice.
Lu Yinfeng snapped out of it and quickly stepped out of the elevator.
She unavoidably brushed past Mo Nanze, catching a faint scent of tobacco from him.
In the office, Lu Yinfeng sat on the sofa, opposite the indifferent Mo Nanze.
There was no superfluous small talk between them, as if they were just a lawyer and client.
"Lawyer Mo... I..." Lu Yinfeng suddenly became tense.
Mo Nanze spoke in a calm voice, "I know what you're here for."
