Cheng Zhiwei felt a sense of relief.
She said to Meng Qiancheng, "My friend has arrived, I need to go."
Meng Qiancheng looked at He Ye without any expression and spoke dismissively, "He Rongwei's youngest son, I heard he can sing well?"
A chill ran down Cheng Zhiwei's back. She pursed her lips, trying to remain calm, "Meng Qiancheng, he's just a normal friend of mine."
"I wouldn't do anything, Weiwei, you're making me sad," Meng Qiancheng said with a smile, reaching out to touch Cheng Zhiwei's hair.
Cheng Zhiwei sidestepped and walked towards He Ye.
He Ye gave Meng Qiancheng a cold glance and asked Cheng Zhiwei in a low voice, "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, let's go." Cheng Zhiwei shook her head, and they both left together.
Meng Qiancheng watched them go, the smile on his face gradually vanishing until all expression receded into darkness.
Once downstairs, Cheng Zhiwei's discomfort began to ease. She asked He Ye, "How did you come here?"
