At the dinner table, Zhou Chucheng was somewhat distracted.
That afternoon, he had unexpectedly received a message from Xiaolu.
She didn't explain the reason for her disappearance, nor did she mention when they would meet next.
But, she had given him hope again.
"Eat properly, don't stare at your phone all day."
Zhou Jin'an served him a large hairy crab, and said with a straight face.
"Yeah, got it."
Zhou Chucheng put his phone down and began to eat his meal with his head buried.
Midway through the meal, Zhou Chucheng's phone rang, and he immediately took the call on the balcony.
Zhou Jin'an watched his retreating figure with a heavy sigh.
"Is Xiaolu back?"
He asked.
Sister Rong, who was helping to serve dishes, was in a very good mood since Xiaolu had come back.
"She's catching up on sleep, says she's worn out and asked us not to call her."
"Sister Rong, save her some dishes, I remember she loves hairy crabs, make sure to keep a few for her."
Zhou Jin'an instructed.
