Chapter 500: Knowing This, Why Endure?

Fu Shinian had been silently watching Su Mu, not uttering a word until he felt it was about time. When Su Mu began to tremble uncontrollably in the bathtub, he finally bent down and carried her out, casually asking:

"Is that enough?"

Su Mu nodded, but her body couldn't stop shaking. Fu Shinian, without saying another word, stripped off her clothes that were barely there to begin with. Su Mu intended to resist, but in the end lacked the strength to do so. Eventually, Fu Shinian wrapped her in a bath towel, strode out of the bathroom, and laid her back down on the bed.

Pulling up the covers over her, Fu Shinian retreated to the couch and sat down, lighting a cigarette with an air of indifference:

"Let me know if you need anything."

"Thank you."

Her response was met with a cold chuckle from Shinian.
