Chapter Six

The girl and Cornelius finally ends up in our front.

Tiana and I were in the class minding our business when they both walked in.

Harry followed suit.

"You must be that Eve of a girl?" She said scanning me up and down. She was estimating what i wore and to her dismay I don't wear well known brands because I would be prone to scamming and I don't even have enough money to throw around.

I finally remembered where i had seen her, it was on the news with her family and I think she was a model. Cornelius did say he was dating a model still I pretended I didn't know her family's worth.

"Sorry who are you? Are you new?" I asked like i had never seen her before.

She was taken aback because she swore that not even an insect did not know who she was. Actually I don't pretend unless I want you to get pissed and that was not a common sight.

I whispered to Tiana asking who she was, then Tiana googled her and gave me the details. It took 3-5 minutes before I got the facts straight.

She was not pleased. 

Oh how i loved the way her jaw dropped when she saw that i had never payed her any attention.

"Oh sorry, I needed to get my facts straight. Tyla right?" She frowned horribly.

Oh was it not tyla.

"Tesla?" I asked again just to be sure, I wasn't really paying attention to the details.

Tiana giggled "that's the name of a car, Evie. Her name is Kyla" it was funny to her.

That's why I loved Tiana, she was easy to please and a little gullible when it comes to me.

I'm sure she thought I didn't really know who this Tesla of a girl was.

" Whatever" Tesla said, I mean Kyla.

I'll just call her Tesla, Kyla isn't sinking.

"How can I help you today, ma'am?" I asked unsure what was going on.

She brings out her IPhone and shows me the video of the sleepover we had the last time. I think i remembered what happened now, i was dared to kiss Cornelius however it was just a peck and harry made sure to film it to spike me.

Well, well, well how the table have turned.

"Okay, what's wrong?" I asked pretending to not understand.

"What.. what's wrong?" She almost popped a vein and eyes went out of their sockets too.

"You kissed my boyfriend and you said what's wrong?" She intentionally let her voice go high probably to humiliate me or something.

Well then. You forced my hand….

Tesla.

Shit i forgot again.

However she pulled the reaction out of everyone, there were gasps.

"It was a peck, Tesla and it was a dare! If I wanted to steal your man you think he would even be dating you in the first place?" 

Everything paused and not a breath was heard.

Good.

"And if I was going to date anyone it certainly wouldn't be your Cornelius cause" I paused for me and Tiana to echo together "Ewwww, No thank you" then we pretended to puke. 

It was epic.

"Sorry if a friendly peck made you insecure but i think you wouldn't mind if harry pecked him so what's the problem?" I asked i wanted to push her a little right before the cliff.

Everyone stared right back at her, curious for her answer.

She's trapped.

"Well.. it's because it's you Eve"

"Because it's me? What do you mean by that, Tesla?" I asked again and like I pulled the pin off the grenade, it went off.

"For the last time, it's Kyla and because e it's you Everylnn that's why i reacted. Do you even have any idea how many people have crushes on you, both straight and curved. Well I'm not surprised because i told you my name twenty times already, how do you even have a scholarship if you are this forgetful. Happy now?"

" wait, you're on scholarship?" Harry asked from behind.

Tesla realized she said too much but was surprised that they didn't know about my scholarship, I didn't want anyone to feel threatened because I was smart.

"I'm glad you were able to communicate your thoughts Tyla" i paused and try to check if I'm wrong "but don't worry, your baby is all yours we only value him as friends" That was all we said as  I dragged Tiana and dashed to the cafeteria to grab whatever was leftover as break was almost over.

We managed to get some sausages and bubble tea.
