The Consolation you have

Sodus relaxed on her horse, her thighs rubbing against the stallion. Then she turned to Kael, who was fuming.

"I wouldn't know how time is flowing there, but I'll advise you to get this place over with if you wish to return, that is."

Kael turned to look at the little girl, his eyes laced with annoyance and hate.

"Does the hourglass affect the flow of time in Stormont?" he asked again.

Sodus didn't reply. She kicked her horse gently and started moving. "Doesn't everything relate to everything?" she replied, coming closer to Kael.

"If you wish, you can remain here. Feel less pressure, be with the woman you love, and have as many children as you want. Isn't that what you wanted? Look at her," the demon gestured at Valerie.

There was no way out of all this if he didn't do what they wanted. There were two more paths left if he cleared this one, but Kael wanted to return immediately. Something didn't feel right.
