Chapter 34

"What's the status of Xaan's wounds?"

The physician was actually a distant relative of the Le family. After Le Finn rocketed to success from scratch, he reached out to these clansmen of more or less blood ties with him and arranged all sorts of jobs for them.

"Nothing serious. He's sustained some minor injuries and should fully recover within about ten days."

The doctor replied.

"Well. That's good to hear. But how about his trip to Mountainside City?"

By then, Le Finn suddenly felt inclined to ask Le Xaan about his willingness to travel to Mountainside City. And he grew a little anxious as he considered this.

"Young Master Xaan has been practicing martial arts from his childhood and now possesses peerless strength. Lord Le Finn, you can feel worry-free."

Elder Zaner said with a laughter and then added,

"I have never expected that he has hidden his might from us for so long. The two villains were someone I had once tried to arrest. Who would have thought that they would end up dying at the hand of Young Master Xaan?"

Elder Zaner had scrutinized the Ryen brothers' wounds and could tell the signs of Crashing Heat Palm.

He was not sure when Le Xaan was able to exercise Crashing Heart Palm and couldn't gauge his mastery in the set of martial arts, either, though.

After all, the evidence of the fight was too limited, and he was not that well-versed in the set of palm techniques.

"I hope your words prove prophetic." Le Finn nodded his head. "Alright. We shall follow the original plan. After his health is recovered, he will head for the Mountainside City and learn martial arts."

"To attain such great strength, Xaan must have been practicing martial arts out of his enthusiasm. I am certain that he is glad to explore more martial arts."

Louir Cayv interjected in a soft and prideful voice.

"Alright. Since there's nothing severe, now the meeting is dismissed. Cinci, go back to your room and reflect on your mistakes. Do not wander on the streets anymore and obediently stay home in the days to come." Le Finn instructed on Le Cinci sternly.

"Well..." Le Cinci muttered. This time, she was truly frightened and hated to think what must have happened but for Le Xaan's well-timed arrival.

She needed some time to adjust her mood.

...

The news of this incident soon spread through the Le Mansion and eventually throughout Gourian City.

Le Xaan was also famed as a martial arts enthusiast.

In this day and age, the Ryen brothers were no longer as notorious as they once were. However, everyone gained knowledge that Le Xaan and his younger sister had executed a few formidable wanted criminals.

The name of Le Xaan soon went viral all around the city.

The servants of the Le Mansion now displayed greater reverence, bordering on worship, each time they greeted Le Xaan.

Their Young Master Xaan actually killed a bunch of villains!

They did not feign their reverences, which were genuinely wholehearted.

Since those criminals were long-time wanted yet managed to escape justice, they must be extremely treacherous.

...

Le Cinci was now sitting in Le Xaan's room with her leg crossed over the other, chewing on an apple leisurely.

Perhaps the incident truly frightened her; in these few days, she stayed at home obediently.

But she visited Le Xaan's room more often, trying to persuade him to team up with her and investigate the Xavir family's case.

"Aside from Elder Zaner and you, along with several other experts, the rest of the guards, lacking substantial combat experiences, may have never witnessed the sight of blood before.

That's often the perception that the family's servants held of me in times before. "

She seemed used to that.

"By the way, I can't help but wonder what expressions my master and fellow disciples would have if they knew of my incredibly strong eldest brother, you. That will surely be interesting!"

Le Xaan smiled lightly.

He was holding a brush pen and seriously writing something.

" I will investigate the Xavir family case! And necessarily! But now it's not the proper time."

He said in a deep tone.

"Brother Taron... died such a miserable death!" As she recalled, Le Cinci's eyes turned red.

"Rest assured, I sooner or later will solve this case." Le Xaan kept writing after a short pause.

After engaging with two 'Strength Flow' experts in combat, Le Xaan was now well aware of his own limits.

The masters at the "Strength Flow" stage usually had a deep proficiency in a set of martial arts, thereby stronger than common martial arts practitioners.

Although he had modified both Black Tiger Blade Style and Crashing Heart Palm to their ultimate levels, that didn't give him much advantage when facing off two opponents.

When the two 'Strength Flow' brothers joined forces, they posed a much greater threat and made Le Xaan high-strung beyond compare.

Le Xaan figured that, if one more 'Strength Flow' expert had joined hands with them, he would definitely be defeated .

This time, what he managed to secure was only a narrow victory. His blade was shattered into pieces, and his body was riddled with injuries.

"I am still so weak... The Xavir family had employed four 'Strength Flow' experts, and a great numbers of good hands, let alone those family servants. Yet, they were all slaughtered overnight without any commotion... Such power really sends a chill up my spine."

When this reality came to him, Le Xaan found his preparations far from adequate.

He was in dire need of more power and greater martial arts!
