Audrey:
I watched as the woman, Delilah, kissed Vladimir.
He pushed her back, but I didn't move. My feet seemed to be glued to the ground as she looked at him, tapping his chest twice before she took a step back and left. My heart ached and I wrapped an arm around myself before looking at Liana.
"Do you mind me going up to the dressing room? I don't feel like staying here any longer." I said, not wanting to be rude to her. She was doing her best to try and make the night go easier for me. But it seemed to me that the night only aimed to get worse, I didn't want to deal with more embarrassment for today.
"I'll follow you…"
"No, no, you can have fun. I want to get some rest." I said, stopping her. She studied my expression, but chose to nod. I took a step back and walked past the murmuring guests who have witnessed the scene.
My whole body felt like it was on fire. And the more I stayed here, the more it threatened to want to burn me.
