Audrey:
I walked back to the hotel, knowing that Vladimir was not only angry, but he would be waiting for me.
His eyes met mine as I walked inside the room, and he raised an eyebrow before getting up from the couch. He didn't say a word for a moment, but when he took a step toward me, I had to fight back flinching.
"How was your day?" He asked, noticing my discomfort.
"It was good, thank you for asking." I said, and he hummed in response. He nodded at the couch behind him, and I frowned in confusion.
"The two of us need to talk. I doubt that you believe that I am going to drop the subject simply because you want me to, do you?" He asked, and I looked away from him, knowing that this was not going to be ending well.
The fact that he left to begin with was surprising to me, but I didn't know what to expect. His eyes were fixed on me, and though I didn't respond, he walked toward the couch and sat, waiting for me to do the same.
