One Fucked Hell Of A Day.

Aiden.

I wasn't ready when his eyes came on me but when I realized that he was long aware that I was watching everything that played down, the anger in me slowly resonates.

He smiled wickedly as though passing an information telling me indirectly that what I just witnessed could be my fate.

I see him scoff like I was unimportant and my hypersensitive hearing captures his words when he mouthed "Fresher". Dismissing my glares as though I was a fanboy.

Without a doubt, this is the most annoying person I have met in my life.

I don't know him, but just the thought of him doing something so cruel to my kind without feeling a single sense of remorse even when being called out on it, makes my blood boil.

Who does he think he is?

My teeth clench together, and before I know it, I am fighting back a clenched fist. I want to punch him square on his face and break his jaws.

I don't know how long I glare at him and how long I stand there fantasizing about how to kill him, but the tap on my shoulder called me out of it.

My eyes went to person behind me and it was the girl from earlier. She had a smile on her face as I look at her.

"You're still here?" She asked me as though she didn't abandon me midway just to run off with her weird friend.

"You shouldn't be here". She tells me.

"Why shouldn't I?". I ask and she answers immediately.

"This place is restricted..."

"But I don't see any restrictions". I tell her, waiting to hear what she says but she doesn't elaborate further instead she manages a smile.

"That's our trial room. A trial is currently going on in there so you can't be here... Let me take you to your quarters, Jeremy won't be done anytime soon". She tells me and moves forward, urging me to come with her and I obliged.

The rest of our walk together remained silent. I allowed my eyes to perch on her once in a while, when I noticed the mark behind her ear.

It was a tattoo - a tattoo of a half-crescent moon and a name written boldly underneath it.

It spelled out B-A-L-E.

Must be a special name to her for her to have it tattooed.

It was not long before we strolled out of the school premises and in front of the school buildings where we first came from.

My car was still parked there but my driver was no longer there.

I guess he left after dropping me off or maybe he was assigned to do just that but he left the car either way.

"Do you drive?" I ask her and she opened her eyes wide to my question.

I know it sounds weird to allow a stranger drive your car but I'm concerned that I might pull off the steering wheel if I get behind it.

That's how pissed I am.

"You want me to drive your car?" She asked surprisingly.

"Do you expect me to drive? You were assigned to accompany me so complete your task". I tell her and she stiffled a laughter.

"Commanding, ain't ya... you don't know how to drive, do you?" She asked me and I raised a brow at her words, opening the door of the passenger seat.

"I'm just lazy to... Get in". I order her, tossing the key I picked from the seat to her as she smiles feeling excited.

Out of everyone I met today, she was the most genuine. Her thoughts were pretty much surrounded within the present and nothing more. She seemed like a reliable person.

As she starts the car and we started moving away from school premises, more forestation greeted my eyes and I began to wonder just how large the place was.

Do the school own this entire property?

It was her words that called my attention back but I did not look at her. I kept staring outside.

"So why were you sent here? Are you some sort of rebel?" She asked.

"I guess you can say that". I tell her and she nodded with eyes on the road while stepping on the gas.

"Never thought I would meet a Hellhawker in person". She muttered before she continued but I didn't want to mingle further so I just shut my eyes and relax backwards.

She must think I'm some hot shot... Little does she know that my family dumped me here to get rid of me.

I didn't say another word so she takes a hint and stops talking.

The entire drive was silent.

~~~~
We get to a part of the road where instead of forest, I see developed buildings and duplexes opposite and adjacent to each other.
It was like a whole community.
What is this place exactly?
I questioned in my head but the girl by my side beats me to it as she spoke up. "This is the vampire quarters". She mumbled and for a moment there I had forgotten about her.
"Other species live separately from us". She said and I look at her.
"And the Mutts?" I ask her and she frowns
"Yeah, even them... They have their quarters, so we don't cross their territory and they don't cross ours".
"But tactless vamps have werewolf friends that sneak in for parties and hang here sometimes, likewise the vamps". She exhaled and I hear her thoughts but she doesn't say it out.
That's how he died.
"Who died?" I ask her but her surprise surpassed my question.
"How did you do that?"
She asked me.
She wanted to inquire how I managed to read her thoughts but in course of asking, a loud honk from behind drew our attention and she suddenly realized that she was still on the road.
"Oh, shit". She mumbled moving the wheel and trying to step on it. But before she could do that, the person from behind yelled out loud.
"Hey wuss! move your pussyass!
I didn't say anything because we were in the wrong so I let it slide.
I see her clench her jaws, moving her tongue to push the left side of her face but that was it. She exhaled also, letting it slide and kept moving in a normal pace but the person behind kept honking, trying to overtake on a single road.
What was he trying to do?
"Hey, ass fart, are you scared of the wheel? Move it!
He yelled again and I chuckle at his words because it was hilarious to me.
I got curious to see what he would do if we did otherwise so I tell her "Go slower", looking at the side mirror.
She looked at me with a grin on her face.
I guess she was curious to see what I was getting at.
Just as she was told, she slowed down and in just that slit second, the car behind clashed with mine causing me to smile.
Smiling because this was what I wanted and he fell right into my trap.
Ever since I met that person earlier, I've been so riled up that I wanted to punch somebody. I needed to inflict pain to feel alright.
Without wasting time, I pushed open the passenger door and slid out of the car ready to beat my prey to pulp when something else greeted my nostrils.
The stench clouded my thoughts so hard that immediately, I knew what it was. My stomach churned in disgust before the fresh flow of rage dived in.
In that moment, the anger that once resonated within me to murder earlier took over. This is one fucked hell of a day.
I clenched my jaws.
Fucking werewolves.
