Chapter 6. Stranger danger.

"Ohh it's you again. Sorry but I can pay for my food." I said sounding a bit rude.

I didn't say you can't I just want to pay.

Wait, but you know I can do that you're my lecturer.

If that's the case let me drop you off at your hostel.

Rubby, Anita let's go. They made their way to where I was.

The drive to the school hostel was slow and quiet for some reason unknown to me .

As I was about to open the door, he held my hand.

"And I said I can't give you my number earlier, you're my lecturer and I'm your student. It doesn't work that way. "

Later that night...

I went straight up to my room. I did my facials arranged my bag for classes that we have tomorrow. I was so happy. I took my idodo u meh biology book with me to the library but I was stopped by Rubby.

" Hey, just wanted to let you know that Mr Caleb is bad news. So be careful around him especially when you are alone in his office. I'm a victim."

"Okay. "

"I'm serious oo. You can go and read now."

The Reading room...

I kept on going through chapters that I wasn't really familiar with. Chapters like excretion . It was fun reading it. Then I read my GST books which is a compulsory course.

I then decided to scroll through TikTok then I got a text from my mom telling me to be careful and to check my portal for school fees.

I did that and my school fees summed to 221,000 naira. That's a huge amount of money. So I'm not going to let myself or my parents down. I sent the amount to her then she asked me pay online tomorrow after classes.

Yetunde called and w e talked for a while. It was almost midnight,so I decided to take some sleep and deal with my school fees tomorrow.

The Next Morning...

I woke up very early around 4am in the morning.

I had my bath did my facials and wore a black corporate trouser and a cute white button down crop top. It was corporate so I didn't mind. I took my bag I already arranged last night. Rubby was still sleeping, she said something about having classes in the afternoon.

I went to Anita's room. I was surprised that she was wearing the same thing with me.
